Anyone who has seen the classic holiday movie "Elf" knows “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is Robert Brownsinging loud for all to hear,” and our digital doorbells are one way to spread a little extra joy.
Online shopping has made it easier to find the right present at the right price and without the lines, crowds or hassle.
When those presents arrive on your doorstep, ditch the ding dong and instead, opt for a Hanukkah, Christmas or Kwanzaa-inspired theme to bring a smile to the face of the delivery person.
Watch this video to see how easy it is to spread a little more holiday cheer with a festive doorbell chime.
Christmas sounds on Ring, Vivint doorbell cameras
There are a lot of smart doorbells on the market. Companies like Google, Ring, Vivint, Nest and Logitech are just some of the manufacturers.
With so many options, the exact steps on how to change your doorbell sound will vary depending on which smart device you have.
To change your doorbell sound:
- Open the app that controls your doorbell
- Tap settings
- Depending on the brand of doorbell, you may have to select this before or after selecting the doorbell in your app
- Look for an option along the lines of “doorbell theme” (Google Nest), “doorbell chime” (Vivint) or “chime tones” (Ring)
- Select the sound
- Press your doorbell button
- Enjoy!
The sounds available will vary depending on which doorbell you have.
The festive doorbell chimes are only available for a limited time. Once the season is over, they head back to the North Pole and your doorbell reverts to its regular chime until the next holiday comes around.
